Blackboard Temporarily Closed

Grades are due on Monday, and I am currently working on them. Your class was my last to grade. I had to make Blackboard unavailable while I grade since there is no way to keep you all out of the writing portfolios until I'm finished. I've had students in the past continue to make changes as I was grading, and then accuse me of not grading correctly. I'd go back to check and discover new stuff and wonder how I missed that. Well, I was glad to discover I wasn't going crazy. Anyway, I now close…

Final Exam & Final Quiz Makeup

Congratulations! You finished a long and grueling semester of ENG101. Hopefully it wasn't that bad and you learned enough to get you ready for ENG102. This week is finals week, so I will be grading your final exams on Thursday. Take a few minutes to go back into your final writing portfolios and make sure everything is there and that it looks nice. Some of you just dumped files in the pages and they don't look that nice. That is not the best way to convince your instructor that you…
